Clinical guidelines and reference sources

Various

OptoGuide™ clinical content is authored by us, informed by published guidance from bodies including RANZCO, Optometry Australia, the Centre for Eye Health, the National Health and Medical Research Council, and the Australian Medicines Handbook. Individual records cite their sources. Those publications remain the copyright of their respective owners. Naming a source indicates that it informed our content — it does not imply that the organisation has reviewed, approved, endorsed, or is affiliated with OptoGuide™.

Pharmaceutical brand names

Respective trade mark owners

Medicine brand names appear in the therapeutics database to help you identify products dispensed in Australia. Clinical images in OptoGuide™ are original synthetic illustrations generated for teaching purposes and reviewed by a registered optometrist. They are not photographs of real patients, contain no patient information, and are not sourced from any third-party image library or publication.
